The second attack really lags my computer. I played it twice, first time it froze up my computer, but I thought it was just a coincidence. However, the second time I played it the game was undeniably at fault for nearly freezing up my computer. This time I luckily quit it before it completely froze it up.

Dang maybe it could either be pc specs or the browser you are using.
My Pc(Actually Laptop) has 3rd gen intel core i5 but it works well both offline and browser (brave browser)
seems to work well on others to such as edge
I use Microsoft Edge, and I don't think my specs are bad enough to not be able to play a 2D game.
I have 8GB ram and use Radeon RX550/550 Series.
try disabling extensions or use a different Browser such as chrome or brave and if all else fails try the offline exe version.
